Social Patients is a place to socialize - not just talk about symptoms.
We host inclusive online gatherings, games, and casual group sessions where people can relax, have fun, and feel like they belong, no matter their diagnosis, life situation, or reason for being here.
Sessions are designed to be low-pressure, welcoming, and accessible for individuals, support services, and anyone looking for safe social connection.
What We Offer

An online social group for adults of all backgrounds and life situations.
*To keep sessions comfortable and welcoming, groups are currently limited to 8 participants plus host. Register early to reserve your place.
Open to independent members as well as participants supported by families, and community programs, or residential services.

*Regular sessions are offered at this time on Tuesdays only. To register please fill out the contact/registration form.
*Occasional special events may be scheduled on Fridays &/or Saturdays.
*Special events may be attended separately when available and are first come first served. Limited spaces.
Session Times (Mountain Time - Canada)
Sessions are typically about 1 hour, with flexible format.
Most Tuesdays
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

*All sessions take place on Zoom.
The session link is emailed to registered participants on the day of the event.

Beginning January 2027:
$15.00 CAD for three months!
That's $5.00 per month
*Special Events are included in the paid membership but it is first come first served. Reserve by replying to the event invite that will be emailed out at the beginning of that month. More times can be added if needed.
Memberships for 2027 will be sectioned:
(January, February, March)
(April, May, June)
We break for summer in (July, August, September) with some Free Sessions during those months to keep contact open.
Resume paid sessions for the 2027 year again in (October, November, December)
*Rates for group support services and residential programs are arranged separately with invoice given if needed.

Payment Options
Payment can be made by Interac e-transfer, Cash, and Debit/Credit after registration. In person payments only at this time.
*After submitting the contact/registration form, participants will receive an email with payment instructions and session details.
Support Services & Residential Services
Social Patients welcomes partnerships with support services, group homes, and community programs supporting disabled or medically complex individuals.
We offer private participation options designed to provide safe, structured, and low-pressure social experiences in a supportive and predictable environment.
